Are you a highly organised professional who thrives in a “red-hot” busy environment? We are a leading family-run supplier to Garden Centres, Landscapers, and online retailers. As we head into our peak season, we are looking for a proactive individual to join our hardworking team in rural Enfield.

Sales & Customer Service Account Manager

This is a relationship-driven role. You won’t just be taking orders; you’ll be an advisor to our customers. It requires a “can-do” attitude, MS Office competency, and the ability to learn our CRM systems quickly.

  • Ethical Selling: Manage small to large accounts and chains using our “little and often” ethos—ensuring customers stock correctly without over-ordering.
  • Account Management: From onboarding new clients to solving complex queries and providing plant maintenance advice.
  • Marketing: Design and send our weekly “customer availability” emails.
  • Peak Season Focus: Be the frontline for sales calls during our busiest months (March–June).
  • Wide variety: We are a small team so you need to be flexible and help where required.

About you

You are a “completer-finisher” who doesn’t leave a job half-done. You likely have at least 2 years of office experience in a fast-paced industry and possess:
  • A Sense of Urgency: You enjoy the buzz of a busy phone line and a shifting to-do list.
  • Initiative: You’re comfortable taking the lead in unfamiliar situations.
  • Communication Skills: You can build rapport easily and motivate those around you.
  • Horticultural Interest: A passion for plants is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential!
  • Dog Lover: Our friendly four-legged friends are part of the office team so you must be comfortable working alongside dogs.
